Euro Trash: A New Chapter at Immaculate Conception
Some buildings are simply structures. Others are vessels of memory, faith, and ambition—places where history lingers in the walls and meaning accumulates over generations.
Our next chapter unfolds in one such place.
Euro Trash is moving into the Immaculate Conception Church and Rectory, a landmark historic complex located in the Gate District of St. Louis. This transition is more than a relocation; it is a continuation of our philosophy—honoring the past while shaping something entirely new.
A Sacred Landmark with Global Significance
Immaculate Conception Church stands as one of St. Louis’ most quietly powerful architectural treasures. For generations, it served as a spiritual anchor for the surrounding community and as a place of international importance: the rectory once housed a clergyman who would later become Pope.
Few buildings in the Midwest can claim such a lineage. The church’s architecture—defined by craftsmanship, scale, and reverence—speaks to a time when buildings were designed to endure. Its walls have witnessed cultural shifts, moments of reflection, and decades of history, yet the building remains intact in both form and spirit.
This is not history preserved behind glass. It is living history—stone, stained glass, woodwork, and light—that continues to inspire.
From Sanctuary to Atelier
The transformation of Immaculate Conception into the new Euro Trash atelier is being undertaken with profound respect. The goal is not to erase the building’s past, but to build upon it.
The church will serve as Euro Trash’s creative headquarters: an atelier, studio, and immersive environment where interiors, collectible design, bespoke furniture, and curated objects are conceived and brought to life. Original architectural details will be preserved and celebrated, allowing the building’s grandeur and spiritual gravitas to inform every creative decision made within its walls.
In many ways, this space mirrors the Euro Trash ethos itself—layered, storied, dramatic, and deeply intentional. A place where antiques coexist with contemporary work, where craftsmanship is elevated, and where beauty is allowed to unfold slowly and meaningfully.
Looking Forward
This move marks an evolution for Euro Trash—one rooted in reverence, ambition, and stewardship. We are honored to become caretakers of Immaculate Conception Church and energized by the creative possibilities this extraordinary space offers.
A former house of worship now becomes a house of creation, and a sacred past gives rise to a bold future.
We look forward to welcoming clients, collaborators, and the St. Louis community into our new atelier—and to continuing to create work that is timeless, personal, and rich with narrative.
